Broward Tax Collector Partners with FLOW to Deliver Driver License Services to Educators

The Broward County Tax Collector’s Office continues to expand access to essential services through community partnerships—most recently teaming up with the Florida Licensing On Wheels (FLOW) program to support local educators.
Held in Tamarac, this mobile driver licensing event was designed specifically for members of the Broward Teachers Union (BTU), helping teachers update their driver licenses quickly and conveniently as they prepared to return to the classroom.
Bringing Services Directly to Educators
Through this collaboration with the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles FLOW program, dozens of appointments were completed on-site. Many participants were able to finish their transactions in as little as 10 minutes—saving valuable time during an already busy back-to-school season.
The event reflects a growing commitment to meet residents where they are, particularly during times when accessing driver license services can be challenging.
Supporting Teachers When It Matters Most

“As teachers and staff head back to school, we wanted to alleviate concerns for those needing driver license services, especially at a time when obtaining an appointment is still difficult. Working alongside FLOW and BTU to make this event possible means our teachers can now return to their classrooms with updated driver licenses and one less worry. We want teachers and all residents to know: we are here to help.”
