Broward County Tax Collector Abbey Ajayi donates equipment to Southwest Focal Point Senior Center

July 23, 2026

It was a pleasure to partner with Mayor Angelo Castillo and the City of Pembroke Pines and donate surplus computer equipment, printers, and fitness equipment to the Carl Schecter Southwest Focal Point Senior Center. As we prepare to open our new Pembroke Pines office this fall, we’re excited to continue building partnerships that benefit the communities we serve. We hope these resources help support the center’s programs and the seniors who visit every day. We look forward to serving the Pembroke Pines community for years to come!

This event reflects the Broward County Tax Collector’s ongoing commitment to public service, community partnerships, transparency, accessibility, and continuous improvement. Beyond providing property tax collection, motor vehicle and driver license services, the office is focused on building lasting relationships with residents, local governments, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and civic leaders throughout Broward County.

Every opportunity to participate in community events allows the office to answer questions, educate residents about available services, gather feedback, and better understand the evolving needs of the communities it serves.

These conversations help shape future initiatives while reinforcing the importance of delivering government services that are efficient, innovative, and centered on the customer experience.

As the office continues expanding technology, improving accessibility, opening new locations, and increasing outreach efforts, collaboration with community partners remains essential. Through events like this, Broward County Tax Collector Abbey Ajayi continues emphasizing accountability, responsiveness, and a people-first approach to public service.

Looking ahead, the office remains committed to creating more opportunities for engagement, supporting organizations that strengthen our communities, and ensuring every resident has convenient access to accurate information and high-quality service.
