Broward County Tax Collector Abbey Ajayi Shares Service Updates with North Lauderdale Commission

Broward County Tax Collector Abbey Ajayi recently joined Mayor Borgelin, members of the North Lauderdale Commission and local residents during a City Commission meeting. The visit provided an opportunity to share updates about initiatives underway at the Broward County Tax Collector’s Office and explain how those efforts will improve access to services for North Lauderdale residents.
Expanding Access to Tax Collector Services
During the meeting, Ajayi discussed the office’s continued expansion of service locations throughout Broward County. Increasing the number of locations available to residents is part of the office’s effort to make essential services more convenient and accessible.
The expansion will give residents additional options for completing Tax Collector transactions closer to where they live and work. It also supports the office’s broader goal of reducing barriers and improving the overall customer experience.
Introducing Express Lane Self-Service Kiosks
Ajayi also shared information about the office’s Express Lane self-service kiosks. These kiosks are designed to provide residents with a faster and more convenient way to complete eligible transactions without requiring a traditional office visit.
By expanding self-service options, the Tax Collector’s Office is using technology to improve efficiency and give customers greater flexibility. These services are part of the office’s continued investment in modern, accessible government operations.
Preparing Mobile Services for Residents
Upcoming mobile driver license and motor vehicle services were another important part of the discussion. These mobile services are being developed to bring commonly requested transactions directly into communities throughout Broward County. The initiative is intended to make everyday transactions easier for residents who may have difficulty reaching a permanent office location. Mobile services will also provide additional opportunities for the office to connect directly with the communities it serves.
Listening to North Lauderdale Residents
Meeting with local officials and residents allows the Broward County Tax Collector’s Office to share accurate information, answer questions and gather valuable feedback.
