Personal vehicle registrations expire at midnight on the first owner’s birthday.

Heavy Trucks

Personal Heavy Trucks up to 7,999 pounds registrations expire at midnight on the first owner’s birthday.

Vessels

Vessel registrations expire at midnight on the owner’s birthday. Registration is required for vessels with a motor.

Mobile Homes

Mobile home registrations expire annually on December 31.

Must have:

Registration renewal notice PIN, or
License plate number and date of birth of the first registrant

Eligible Vehicles

Vehicle registrations are eligible for renewal at a kiosk if they do not:

Require a new license plate to be issued

Have insurance, driver license or toll suspensions

Require a Florida Certificate of Insurance or IRS Heavy Vehicle Use Tax “2290”
