Broward Tax Collector Launches Self-Service Kiosks Across the County

January 22, 2026

Vehicle registration kiosks across Broward County are now open for residents, as the Tax Collector’s Office launches self-service tag renewal stations at Publix and Sedano’s Supermarkets. These vehicle registration kiosks make renewing your tag faster than ever — no office visit required.

Following ribbon-cutting ceremonies at partnering Sedano’s Supermarkets and Publix locations, the initiative marks a major step forward in modernizing how residents access everyday government services.

Bringing Services Closer to the Community

This expansion introduces self-service kiosks in high-traffic, neighborhood locations—making it easier for residents to complete routine transactions where they already live, work, and shop.

Notably, this is the first time a kiosk has been placed inside a Sedano’s Supermarkets location, reinforcing a commitment to equitable access across Broward’s diverse communities.

Abbey Ajayi highlighted the significance of the initiative:

“This expansion reflects our commitment to bringing services closer to residents and into the communities where they live, work, and shop. By expanding kiosk access across Broward County, we are making routine transactions more convenient while continuing to modernize how we serve the public..

Fast, Easy, and Convenient

The self-service kiosks are designed to simplify the renewal process, offering a quick and user-friendly experience.

With these kiosks, residents can:

  • Renew vehicle registrations and license plate decals
  • Complete transactions in under two minutes
  • Print updated registrations and tags instantly on-site

Additional features include:

  • Secure electronic payment options
  • ADA-compliant accessibility
  • Multilingual support for broader community access

These enhancements eliminate the need for a service center visit for many standard transactions.

Community Leaders Celebrate Expansion

Local leaders joined in celebrating the rollout, including Angelo Castillo and Nancy Metayer Bowen, recognizing the importance of expanding access to essential services.

Representatives from Sedano’s Supermarkets and Publix also participated, underscoring the value of public-private partnerships in improving service delivery.
