At this time, Broward driver license locations are operated by Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. The Broward Tax Collector’s Office is currently planning to take on the operations of driver license locations beginning in the summer of 2026. This is an incredible opportunity to bring more efficiency to a service so many of our residents rely on. We have conducted site visits, identifying areas of improvement in technology, personnel and the overall customer experience. We are confident these changes will lead to reduced lines and wait time, improving the public’s experience
